That is correct, my 65 426 wedge has Commando emblems.  The Golden Commando
was the 426 Hemi.

I was always with the understanding that the Commando V8 was for the 426
street Wedge only, I had a 383 4 barrel parts car and it only had a V8
emblem. Maybe this is a question that Bill or Darwin can shed more lite
on!
