In my 65 Dart wagon (slant 6 904) there is the dealer added power brake set-up which included the booster and a vacuum storage device. It's a decent size squarish metal box. The PB Booster has a "Y" nipple on it - one side to the manifold the other to the canister. Plus there's no check valve on the booster. Could that be the reason the storage box was needed? I've seen the same set-up on other 65 A Bodies - both V8 and 6's.
