pick up size has nothing to do with pressure. the pick up is on the suction
side of the pump. the differences could be oil viscosity, bearing clearances,
full groove or half groove mains, and differences in gauges. 40lbs hot at
idle is plenty, 65-70lbs running is good enough, 100lbs is excessive.
