They are right.  Don't use the lean burn dist. An early dist that matches 
the brain box or module will work great.  I use the brain box and dist from 
the pre lean burn and have great luck with them.  You can make the swap for 
around $100.00   Depending on wherhter you go with new or good used from a 
know running car.
