Upper ball joint and control arm problem

I'm rebuilding the front-end on my '64 Dodge. The driver's side went
fine, and I'm putting the passenger side back together this afternoon.
The upper ball joint has stripped out its hole in the control arm way
before the 125 ft-lb the manual calls for. What are my options at
this point?

Does anyone have a stock pass-side control arm they're willing to part
with? Does it work to weld them together (top or bottom side?)
Something else?
