Put me on the check list!  On buying a car long distance sight unseen 
(except for photos), I've done it with eBay twice.  Won my 65 Valiant 
convert, talked to the guy on the phone a couiple of times, drove from VA to 
NJ and drove the sucker home.  Ol' slant 6 3 speed didn't miss a beat. 
Ended up having my 65 Dart wagon transported from CA to VA, but it would 
have made the trip.

What do you guys think (especially Gary H.) of putting a list on our
website of members and their locations that would be willing to
investigate a car another list member was thinking of buying? I'd be
willing to check out cars in my area for other list members.
