Greetings from the Ozarks, needing some advice here. I am thinking/hoping the pinion gear in my 1965 727 Torqueflite is why my speedometer stopped working. Since I changed rear tire size was planning to replace it anyway. The chart I saw says I need a 32 teeth gear for 27" tall tires. Can someone verify this for me?
Suggestions where to buy a kit with O-ring and seal? Any tips on following Service manual instruction to "carefully work the pinion and sleeve assembly out of the housing"?
