Click here to confirm your address. caac48Ta/PermissionData ------------------------------------------------------------------- the 509 purpleshaft has to be the best cam for stock valvetrain. i have seen one of these run in a 383 for 16? years, never a problem. you can get bigger cams, but you will wear out springs if you get much bigger, the bigger cams generally have quick ramps that need good triple springs to keep up with higher rpm, even in the 5000 rpm range you will start to lose you're consistency and times will be all over the place. one of the local builders (who is a very winning drag racer) insists on new springs every year. sorry i can't afford that, but you get the point if you are already getting 13's out of a wagon with a hydralic cam, i wouldn't change a thing. tom 65 satellite --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
