Dustin,
I have seen a Poly in a early Ford and they look great.
Use a 62-66 Poly 318 as the 56-61 Polys had the extended crank flange and require the cast iron auto trans; remedy would be to change the crank in the 56-61 Polys.

I thinking about using a 318 poly in a hot rod project. Is a 33 Ford roadster, but cash is tight, so a nice flathead is out and I can't bring myself to use a 350. Are the poly engines all the same? What should I look for?
