Gas tank sending unit

I just pulled my old gas tank to replace it, and I found a 5/16" sending 
unit.  The gas line from the fuel tank to the fuel pump is 3/8".  Which 
supplier do you recommend that I contact to get a 3/8" sending unit that 
is correct for our cars?   Thanks in advance for your 
suggestions...Brian
