My 2.5 cents is that it will take a lot of fab work, parts for the early Hemis are expensive, and the Hemi is a heavy motor. If it were me I'd think about cloning the 273 in the Valiant into a "Formula S" type motor and sell the 241 Hemi. The "S" 273 with a three on the tree would be a fun car, too.
But it's your call, of course. If you feel the urge to "Hemify" and have the fabrication skills and patience, go for it. :)
I first want to say thanks for the discussion group. Second share my project with everybody. Third elicit feedback and advice about my project. I am in the process of building a 1964 V-100 Plymouth Valiant 2-door hard top, I purchased a 241 hemi out of a 54 Dodge truck, and I am going to install the baby hemi in the Valiant along with the three speed trans. Has anyone done anything like this before, if so I would love to hear feedback and advice. Thanks P.A. Stone
