I am sure it could be fixed but I doubt its worth the expense. Were it a 
hemi or max block, I could see spending the green. Youd be way ahead 
buying another block. IF you are interested in welding and such, it 
might not be bad material to try your hand at cast iron welding. There 
is alot of info out there on the way to do it. Recently a friend of mine 
had a considerable amount of time and money in a set of 67 440 915 heads 
that developed a crack into a water jacket. He welded it up and is still 
running it today.

Recently I bought a 76 400 block with main caps and a rear seal block 
for $20. Not an ideal block mind you, but its not junk and the price was 
right.

Make a mail box out of it. Get some junk heads and an intake, valve 
covers.....you know, make a statement. :)
