I believe I have it adjusted properly. I don't have the cable shift trans  
anymore. I bought the console conversion kit from Imperial Services and  
installed it on my trans. I made sure the adjustment for it was right after  checking 
several gear detents in the trans and making sure the pin slipped in  the 
shift arm with each gear selected.
And I have no way to check the shift pressure or anything like that.
