OK, my "drivers side upper cowl patch panel" for my 64 polara arrived
from Kramers, looks OK, of course wont be able to tell until i try
fitting it. Its a panel that runs from the base of the A-pillar over
to the start of the grills and down to the top of the firewwall.

Anybody have any tips for me before i begin, I am a little
overwhelmed as this is a big undertaking for me.
One question could be about cutting the old metal out, how do u make
sure u dont cut out too much.
Another is heat, this is a highly visible area of the car as well as
the trough that seals the front window, i want that all straight so
leaks cant have an excuse to start.
Another might be that darn trough, can i expect my MIG to reach down
into that little trough.Isnt that a rather tight spot for a mig
And can u Mig overhead?
And anything else I havent thought of
Thanks guys, any help will be appreciated,
