Brian,
Just a few questions about your installation.

Were you trying to install the header from the top or send it up from
the bottom of the car?

Could you loosten the right motor mount lift the engine a bit to allow
the fit?

My biggest question will be is the right motor mount and obstruction for
just installation, or a clearence problem when installed.

I remember having to lift my 440 on the left side when installing 2"
headers in my 69 Road Runner.

When I talked to Bill Richardson, if my memory is correct, he told me
that the car used for test fitting was a 63 Plymouth B-body with P/S &
P/B. I believe the wheel base on a 62 is different than a 63, but I
thought the engine compartment was the same.

My headers are still sitting in the box and will be going on my new Poly
when it is finished.....Keep us posted.
