  A few days ago i posted about my alt.gauge ticking to the discharge
  side every 10-15 secs and the lights dimming.
   Somebody ( cant remember who, but thanks) suggested a problem in the
   wiper relay I believe. I got up under there behind the wiper switch
   and disconnected- VOILLA! the problem stopped.
   Would somebody care to explain this to me and what exactly a wiper
   relay does.
     Are these readily available, or is this another trip to the
     boneyard?
