I'm only 38! lol...I agree with Bill, on my '64 Savoy I used a Moroso 8qt pan, just needed to trim the K-member slightly where the sump drops behind the K member there is a lip where the two pieces of metal are welded, and part of it needs trimming, that's all , really simple. As far as headers, I made a maxwedge clone and choked up the funds for the maxie manifolds and really glad I did, because TTI makes a killer maxwedge replacement exhaust system. I know it's a little pricey, but I am very pleased, it looks clean and performs well. Oh yeah, consider upgrading the rear diff to a '65 style case---stronger and a little easier to work on. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Petty" <crusinuphigh@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, August 20, 2004 7:50 AM Subject: Engine swap [AD removed for archives] ------------------------------------------------------------------- Buy Stocks and Index Funds for just $4 No Account or Investment Minimums and No Inactivity Fees Automatically invest weekly or monthly and build your future. caacvggbV7eBqa/Sharebuilder ------------------------------------------------------------------- Hate me or love me, I want to stick a 440 in my '62 fury. dead serious. what am I going to run into??
