Blakley's Metal Finishes 937-274-8448 in Dayton, Ohio.   Ken New is  
a columnist and photographer for "Cars & Parts" magazine and he recently
wrote a 2 part series on the steps these guys go through.  It sounds like
an outstanding operation, and the process and finished work leads me to
believe that they are a quality operation and produce quality work. 
Do take my word for it, see the May 2004  back issue for details and
20 photographs of their process.  back issues should be available from
Cars & Parts directly  (www.carsandparts.com).

BTW:  this is an outstanding automobile publication with great historical
articles about vintage autos,  mostly domestic,  lots of 1900s-1970s
cars.  Available only by subscription, Cars & Parts has been in publication
for 30 or more years.
