Thanks for the info. Sounds like most electronics, they work or not,
with little-to-no-warning of impending deep six mode! :)
If using the Pertronix, it seems like a good idea to keep a set of
mechanical points in the trunk as a spare, in case the Pertronix Ignitor
system flames out.
