hi all
i just met a kid down at the paint shop who said he had a 64 polara. so we
went to his moms house and he showed it to me. it is in great shape, although i
believe the floor pan is ate up. the interior is intact and not torn up, trim
and grille and bumpers are near perfect, got a scrape on the back left qrtr. i
told him i thought the car was worth 2500 or more as it sat. i think im
right. anyway he promised the old man who gave it to him he'd restore it. (i
offered him my 68 roadrunner and every part i've got for it and he said nope). so im
gonna help him fire it up this weekend and get it rollin a little bit. its a
pushbutton big block car. i told him to get a pencil rubbing of the fender tag
for me to run past you all. right now i wanted to ask if anyone could decode
this vin: 6342232516. its a beautiful old car with the 1914-1964 golden
anniversary horn center. i think he has something really worth restoring even if it
is a foor door. its a hardtop to. i want to see this kid get this car on the
road. i told him about this website and for him to check it out as you guys are
The Source for knowledge about these cars.
thanks ted
