The D's fit disc and drum cars. They were originally built for 65 Corvettes.
They are not as period looking on our 62-65 cars as the old straight spokes
in my view. mike 63 330

Contact your local Am. racing Wheel dist. My body man ordered mine to save a
few $. The guy asked if I had disc on the front,so I'm assuming you can get
the D'd for drum brakes also. Give it a shot.

The D's are for disc brake equipped cars so the inside of the spokes have a
noticable curve in them so they can clear the disc calipers. Is anyone
making the original style Torq thrust wheels with the straight spokes?

Torque Thrust D's on the front, steel on the rear.Definitely the nostalgic
look.

You won't get them for that price, but American Racing Torque Thrust D's
look great on early B's.

right now I'm kinda looking to go for the basic black steel wheels from
Unique Wheels for about 45 bucks each.
