What you have is the last year of the tapered axle. You will need a drum 
puller to get that drum off. It must be a heavy duty puller. I just did it to my 
'64 convertible. Back off the brake linings first. Put the puller on and 
tighten. Then you need to hit the puller several times on the screw that is putting 
pressure on the axle. Also, I had to hit the drum several times on the 
opposite side (actually the outside) of where the linings touch the drum. It took me 
several hours to get my drum off.
