Hi Tom,

I have done this on a 70 E Body.  Would I do this
again, probably not.  You get no road feel on the
power steering boxes.  I would check into a fast ratio
manual box if you still want road feel.

As for the power conversion for my E Body (which I'm
sure is similar for an early B body).  You will need
the following:
1.  PS box  (lots of new aftermarket stuff available,
I think some of it will fit early B's)
2.  PS lines
3.  PS pump
4.  PS brackets (always the hardest thing for me to
find if you want original)
5.  clearance issues (are you running a stock
driveline?  Are you wanting a bigger or different
engine at some point?)  Know where your going on the
building of your car.
