Neal,

Not much. The way it is done is by cutting a little off the bottom
of the caps. This squares them up - which on a big block Mopar
usually needs to be done because the walk a bit - and then the
honing process removes more metal from the caps and not
so much from the block.

If you line bored a block a dozen times it might be a problem, but
in normal use, no sweat GI.

    So this brings me to the next thing about Line boring- does that
    affect the timing chain tension, whats an average price tag on this
    operation?
