Ken,

I think there should be three weights, not sure, but if there is, knock
off the two outside
ones. If you have one huge one, I would check with a trans guy first
just to make sure.

All,

I am changing from an externally balanced 400 B-engine to an internally
balanced 440 RB-engine.

My question is can I just remove the huge weight from the torque
converter or do I have to get more sophisticated and get it balanced or
worse, buy a new one?
