My Poly before I tore it down had 145 psi, and it is about 8.2 to 1, the drag car my buddy owns is a 13.5 to 1 motor, but the compression gauge only shows about 160 psi when cranking it over. Now I now that doesn't make sense, but you have to think about cam timing, over lap etc. That is why it is so hard to figure true C.R. from a gauge.
