Thus is a BIG hassle for me too! Meanwhile, Topica's policy change means Topica is now inserting ads into the top of messages sent. This makes it even more important to PAY ATTENTION to two of the discussion guidelines: * Match the SUBJECT with what is in the mail * Delete excess text, including the ad, BEFORE pressing SEND in your reply. (I.e., if the ad is in the original mail and you just hit reply without deleting the ad you are resending the ad as well! Advertisers like that, Clubmembers won't.) Here are the relevant discussion guidline points in full: 4) Match your e-mail's subject line with the text you send. This is important! It gives people the information they need to delete mails they do not want to read. Correct subject lines also make for ease of finding subjects of interest in the archive. 7)TRIM! CUT! When replying to an e-mail it is not necessary to quote the entire e-mail back to the list. Use your editor to trim out all but what is relevant to your reply. This makes things a lot easier to read and saves bandwidth as well. Contact me privately with questions, comments or suggestions. Thanks for your patience and support.
