60 and 61 Rams are not the same. 60 has a peg on the Ram that the carb return spring attached to. 61's do not and have a bracket that bolts to a carb stud that the spring attaches to.

PCV valves were installed on all ‘61 CA cars and newer. There is coverage of the PCV valve on the 300G in the FSM manual, page attached. My G has it installed. Interesting side note, the rams are the same ’60 and ’61 but only the ’61 intake has the port in the equalizer tube for the fitting to the PCV valve.

Positive crankcase ventilation did not appear across the board until the model year 63, I believe Model year 62 California cars would be equipped with positive crankcase ventilation.
Hi. Did the 1962 300H have a pcv valve and hose that went to the carb or intake manifold, or did it have the road tube. I've seen both and wonder which is correct. Thanks. Bill Grieve.
