I have two rebuildable 59-63 cores in parts stock; one is an AC 4751 and the other is either the same or the Airrtex version. I didn't see rebuild kits for those. Then & Now only has Carter kits. Yep. My 55 Desoto had an aftermarket. When I called Then and Now for a kit. They said only Carter. So I looked up the correct Carter number for my car (2241S). So the search began for a core. Here’s how you can tell that you have the correct Carter pump (see photo).
