The M3672 is the one I bought, putting out 8 PSI. Flooding my carb.On 08/15/2026 1:59 PM CDT Carl Bilter <cbilter@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:The new Carter pumps that look identical to original 59-63 pumps (M6903) put out way too much pressure even for a ram car. Ram car doesn't need more than 3.5 to 5 psi maybe? There was one on my G and it kept flooding the carbs. I'm not the only one that has had that problem. Use the '64 and up style on the Rock Auto closeout (M3672) and it should be fine. Last of the line if you hadn't heard. The new pumps puts out 8PSI.That should certainly feed two carbs if that is what you need!I had to buy a regualtor to get the pressure down to an acceptaable level for my 3614S 360HP K.AllanOn 08/15/2026 12:24 PM CDT John Nowosacki <jsnowosacki@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:-- I've noticed looking at online auto parts stores, that the recommended fuel pump is almost always the same for 61 Chrysler 300, 70 Chrysler 300 (with engine code T, U, or V) and is an unexpectedly low price of around $25. I seem to remember way back when, that a different pump was listed for a car with 2-4bbl carbs or a U or V in the VIN of a 440 equipped engine?Anyone else notice this, or find a way of looking up a fuel pump for an engine that may require more fuel than a lower performance version of a 413 or 440, or does it no longer exist (or matter)?--
