RE: {Chrysler 300} Contact for New York

What I believe Katie is trying to accomplish here is to avoid the prohibitively expensive shipping costs to Australia by picking up parts in New York to pack in her suitcase for the trip back to Australia. Case in point: I had a G taillight piece I was willing to sell to George in Melbourne for $25. I packed it up, addressed it and tried to mail it. As I recall, it would cost $580. to mail it to Melbourne.

Even if you don’t live anywhere near New York, you could ship the parts she needs (suitcase-sized pieces) domestically to the location she chooses in New York and it would still save her a lot of money. That could be one plan.

Hope you have a nice trip to the states. I’m far south of New York, but Bob Merritt just posted about the small meet at his house in Auburn in July. Not sure if you’re headed to NYC or elsewhere in NY state but perhaps Bob and his buddies nearby could help with securing the parts you’re looking for. Possibly a contact to hold them until you can arrange shipping or picking them up.

Apologies if this is not the correct way to go about this. I am a member from Brisbane, Australia and in September I will be going to New York for a short work-related trip. I am hoping to make this advantageous by seeing what 300D parts that are not as easy to source here in Australia that are viable options to bring back as luggage on return.
