Beyond my capabilities, but if someone in the club has an NOS or very original clip, being 2026, there must be a way to scan a known good one and then 3D print a bunch of them, right?

I tried 2 different white plastic clips today (an old one & a new one).
They both popped out when I tried to floor it & open up both carbs on my new 413 H motor build.

I had previously adjusted all linkage items per the shop manual for the letter car motor.
