{Chrysler 300} Astradome grounds

My son and I are working on the ole 300G and we’re getting ready to reinstall the fishbowl (Astradome) and I remember reading a tech article on the club website that talked about more substantial grounds for the gauges. This is how in interpreted this information. Are we on the right track? Once I get it installed I’ll ring terminal to a solid dash ground. I am a little worried about installing the brake light bulb, but my son has smaller fingers than I do, even if we have to move a wire. Hopefully I’m correct and this can provide as a visual for grounding the gauges.
