Maybe this will help.  This is my 58 D.  I only hope that I have them correct!
I also had to use my original bulb sockets because the ones Greg was using at the end would not snap into the gauges.  Once in the car a bulb replacement would be nearly impossible.

I mentioned to Greg that a little longer leads on the bulb socket wires would help later if a replacement becomes necessary.  Marv Raguse.  57C & 58 D.
