{Chrysler 300} Rebuild front wheel cylinders

Hello Club.

I installed a wheel cylinder kit in the front right side. I dropped DOT 3

Inside the center and assembled it. It was a new piece , the dust covers mushroomed out, with DOT 5 insystem..

All lines are flushed clean.

The rebuilt wheel cylinder pistons can be pushed in, firmly.

 Is this normal?

Prior to new kit install the pistons were able to be pushed in smoothly by finger action.
