I purchased the digital step-down transformer from Greg Garner and it has been working fine. Although the fuel gauge is showing less fuel than is in the tank, it could be the sender
or a bent arm in the tank. What I did was to remote the unit and clamp it to the bottom of the steering column so I could get to it if there was an issue without tearing the dash out.
At some point in the next year I will get a new tank with a new sending unit and swap it out and then I will see if the gas gauge is more accurate. Being an 1/8 off in ones favor
