agree , forgot about that, but first be sure carb pumps / squirts Could also do standard flow test with hose into can on pump , you see squirts into can as it cranks , separate the carb from pump issue I had one do this after cross country shipping , impossible to start in truck , driver had issue loading it , “!almost catches “ etc etc . At origin owner got it running barely , into truck . Claimed it ran perfectly before .( key!!) He was honest guy . It WAS stuck check accel pump check valves in both carbs not fuel supply ; they will not lift off seat if white junk on them ( ethanol?) They are brass , look like carb gas float needle > On Apr 27, 2025, at 4:16 PM, mplindahl@xxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > > Al, > > Check the fuel pump rod too. > > Mark > > -----Original Message----- > From: 'Jay Williamson' via Chrysler 300 Club International <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Sunday, April 27, 2025 11:00 AM > To: Albert Stauder <astauder55@xxxxxxxxx> > Cc: Chrysler list server <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: Re: {Chrysler 300} Fuel Pump > > Following > Jay Williamson > 317-223-1379 > > >> On Apr 27, 2025, at 11:50 AM, Albert Stauder <astauder55@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: >> >> Good Morning Everyone: While getting my 300F ready for show yesterday on Thursday, it would not start normally after cranking. Had to dump gas in carbs. On Friday and Saturday morning it started fine. Then yesterday after the show it would not start from cranking, had to dump gas in again. So I am suspecting a lazy fuel pump that cannot pump enough during cranking but works ok once started. Does that sound correct?, and if so could you recommend a place to obtain another fuel pump for the 300F. >> Thank y’all. >> Al Stauder >> >> -- >> For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang >> --- >> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group. >> To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to chrysler-300-club-international+unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. >> To view this discussion visit https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/chrysler-300-club-international/4B6BFB2B-2A44-4557-BA2B-0AFA8671FE3A%40gmail.com. > > -- > For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang > --- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to chrysler-300-club-international+unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. > To view this discussion visit https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/chrysler-300-club-international/F31DC0D8-1DDD-4033-9D2B-90462AA3D2EA%40icloud.com. > To view this discussion visit https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/chrysler-300-club-international/007401dbb7b1%244f8c70e0%24eea552a0%24%40sbcglobal.net. -- For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group.
