RE: {Chrysler 300} Cold start

I had a Ram 300K when I was a kid. The car sat on the driveway and in the winter was bitch to start even though I had a carter electric pump on it.

An old farmer who I knew suggested that I take a windshield washer pump and drill two holes (sacrilegious I know) in the end of the rams close to the block and stick a little fitting in there, with a check ball, and then fill a little tank with ether.  In the AM, I turned on the fuel pump and hit the button a couple of times to send ether into the thing and it would start right up.

It was the 1970’s after all…

I also live in Minnesota I installed an electric furl pump close to fuel tank  with a fused switch under the dash. I turn the fuel pump on for about 30 to 45 seconds start car then turn off electric pump works great even after setting all winter.

So I live in minnesota. I store my Plymouth Fury and my 300g in a 50° heated garage. I have not started my 300 since november. It is always been a very rough cold starter. Any advice for the process or steps to get a most efficient cold start? Thanks in advance for your tips
