Side topic but related to our cars- An interesting paper on the relationship between air density, radiator cooling capacity and horsepower is here (for airplanes… didn’t see a similar paper for cars):


Bottom line looks like, as long as there is an even application to automobiles, is that cooling capacity is only about 2/3 at 12kft relative to sea level.  Horsepower is reduced, but so is aerodynamic resistance.  
I’ve seen, only once, a mopar radiator marked for high altitude (HA maybe?), which I assume is higher heat transfer surface area to compensate for lower air mass to which heat can be transferred at altitude…

Wonder if this is one reason you see many black marks on the side of the road from car fires on long inclines or hot areas at altitude… especially out west… carry an extinguisher !
