Thanks for posting, Keith. I'm also interested in something like this to use for the manual trunk release on my Hurst. There are times I just want to get into the trunk without having to start the car to create vacuum for the push button release in the glove compartment.

Wondering what you like for a hood cable lube that will seep down the jacket/sleeve for cars like a 300F and other cars that have an interior pull handle for the hood release? My question also applies to our ‘64 R2 Hawk.

It may be the same lube as folks have suggested for the speedo and tach drive cables (which I forget!) so wanted to post the question .
