Yes, thank goodness they were able to safely leave the area on Saturday as they had no power or water. Mick said it took the Jeep and grit to make it out. In SC now. Their good friend Eric and family are also safe, but the area is completely devastated.

I exchanged emails with Mick a couple days ago, and Mark had connected with them earlier this week.
The Kreszocks are at their vacation home on the east coast, away from the eye of the storm damage - doing fine and waiting for some stabilization in Boone. Understand they do have some flooding issues - unknown extent.
