{Chrysler 300} Paint remover suggestion?

Folks

I’m finally going to strip and refinish the hood latch mechanism on the 300F and was wondering what the group has found effective?

Our hardware store has this “2 minute” stuff in gel (for simpler surfaces) and liquid (for more intricate surfaces with grooves, etc). I was thinking that the liquid variety might be the way to go but someone on the server may have a better suggestion?

Thanks in advance,

Keith
