I wanted to use 15” wire wheels on my 300F and am finding them difficult to get and quite expensive. Any ideas or recent experience?

Coker has been advertising a new series of tires called the Coker Classic Star Series. They don't have the 235/75R-14s listed on their site so I contacted them about them. They said they are coming in the fall.

lol - yes on my G, H, studebaker bulletnose, 59 ford wagon - I have Diamondback Auburn series tires: with beautiful pie crust sidewall edges. (Not as beautiful as the original “bluedot” equipment-but as close as you can get - I think) The 14’s do NOT have the pie crust edges - only 15’s - but they are beautifully done. Which is saying ALOT - in today’s world. And because the white walls are “applied” they stay bright white (!) an added bonus!!! Hank Hallowell
I second the Diamondback suggestion. Auburn is the model. A tubeless radial. Have mounted them on eight cars now. They look and drive great. Tested them to 140+. But that’s another story. Chuck
I really like the look of the bias ply tires on our cars, but also appreciate the benefits of radials. That's why I am drawn to the tires that Coker sells and now Diamondback finally sells which combine the best of both worlds. Mark
I totally concur with Steve re sticking with bias ply for low distance driving. If you’re going to really drive it I’d look no further than Diamondback. I have several sets on a variety of Mopars …. They track beautifully and look great! Hank
I am one who does not drive my 300F cross country or at least on very long drives. Mine is a low mileage original 300F so I am fine with bias ply tires and that is what is still on my car but the last time I bought tires for it was 8 years ago, so now I am looking to replace them. What appeals to me is a bias ply tire from Coker Classic, specifically the the height is 27.6" overall and the whitewall is 2.5" wide. Each tire is $250 and they are currently in stock. Thanks very much for that info.

You should check directly with Coker, as the last time I spoke with them, they did not have any 235/75x14 radial tires and were not sure they would ever get them again. I ended up with 225/75x14 radials from Lucas in Long Beach, CA. This subject has been mentioned recently on this forum, do a search.
