Don’t know the numbers, but have seen a few. 

And, note, this was  Chrysler’s new-for-1961 A745 3-speed manual transmission, used thru 1964. 

The 4-speed trans you’re thinking of was the French-made Pont-a-Moussin installed in a few 300-Fs. This trans was also installed in some Facel Vegas and I’m sure some other European cars.
