The 65 trans is one year only, as it has a slip yoke and cable shift. You would need a custom drive shaft. The valve body on console K's and 65 transmissions are also different from push
button cars. There is an extra position on the rooster comb. Don Anyone put a 1965 transmission into a 1963 or 1964? If so, did you have to have a custom driveshaft made? I see that the 1965 car has a two inch longer wheelbase
so I'd assume that affects the driveshaft. Thanks, Nick --
