RE: {Chrysler 300} Antique Battery Source

If you want a 10 year battery that looks the part, and you are willing to spend more, Jim's Battery Manufacturing  in Youngstown Ohio will sell you a reproduction tar top with an AGM inside. (See photo attached). These are very good batteries. The first one from my 61 Savoy went from 2007 until a year ago when I replaced it with another preemptively. The 2007 battery went into a 67 Barracuda of a friend and still works.

Subject: {Chrysler 300} Antique Battery Source

Good Afternoon,

Does anyone know of another source for the red cap group 27 Mopar batteries?  I placed an order for my G through Battery Central Mall back in June for an August delivery and I’m now told I won’t receive it until end of September/October. I do like their batteries, but I also would like to use my car sometime this summer.

Thanks in advance,

Mark Knutsen
