Gary, Years ago, I need a tank for the 1947 Desoto Suburban. That was 15 or more years ago, and I did not fine one. I had one made from stainless steel.
While researching this, I found out that the Big Chrysler 8 used a larger tank than the Desoto. In my case I had the tank made the depth of the Chrysler 8, but I left it the same width to give the right-side
exhaust pipe more clearance. I picked up a gallon or two. If you find a supplier, just be careful, they are not trying to sell you a tank for a six. The sending unit arm is longer on the eight as well to make up for the depth. James From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
