Michael, Congrats on your 300K purchase. I agree with others that nonleaded fuel is not the problem it was once thought to be for use in collector cars. Drive and enjoy your K, and if/when the time comes to pull the heads, have the seats inspected and replaced with hardened versions if they aren’t already. As far as engine oil goes, I use high zinc Valvoline Racing oil to protect the cam and lifters. My question for the group is whether these cars of this vintage require lead additive? It seems to run OK on unleaded but I know that that can be deceptive thoughts?
