Ron – A couple of things to know: To match the light blue on my 59 Dodge, we went thru a large book showing automotive paint colors with associated codes. I don’t have the name of that book in front of me, unfortunately. Once we found the closest match, we did sprayouts of that color. Then to dial it in even further, we tinted that color until an exact match was achieved. Additionally, the color of your primer (white, gray, dark gray) affects the color of the top coat. So your paint person should do sprayouts on test cards in those colors to see what matches. Then your body person should prime your car in that color. Ron From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Behalf Of Ron Kurtz Hello, everyone: The E will be ready for paint soon. I checked a couple of suppliers here and they can't come up with the zzz code (Ditzler, R&M, PPG, etc.). As the car was repainted in 1964, I can't find any decent sample of the original color. Has anyone repainted their car copper spice recently that has some touchup paint I can use as for a color match, or the name of a supplier that provided a very close shade of the paint? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
