The ones without wings are 1960 ones. The 1960 only used wings on one knob and that was for the convertible top or station wagon rear air. Both of these were located in the same position on the dash below the headlight switch.

Some later radios may have used wingless ones, like on the 1963-64 models but don't know if they are the same as 1960 ones.
